Indianapolis, Indiana On Saturday, July 1st, 2006 the fourth annual Indianapolis Concours Grand Prix hosted by Daimler Chrysler and Obsidian Enterprises will be held on Monument Circle, in downtown Indianapolis. Our featured marques will be Cord and Porsche. At last year's event 220 cars were displayed representing a wonderful mix of vehicles from the massive Best of Show winning Mormon Meteor to a tiny Honda S600. At this time we are seeking nomination from owners, who wish to exhibit their cars among an unique audience of 40,000 automotive enthusiasts, including domestic and international open wheel racing fans. I have enclosed a list of classes for this year's event. Selection of cars is done by committee and will be limited to a maximum of ten cars per class. Priority will be given to vehicles not previously shown at this event. There is no fee for entrants. A copy of the application form is also enclosed. An electronic version is available on our website at www.indyconcours.com or you may fax applications to 317.882.3566. All applications require accompanying photographs and must be received by noon on March 31st in order to be included in the program. We will begin sending acceptance letters in Mid-April. Please note that in addition to the three Porsche specific classes on the enclosed list, Porsches may be entered in the two classes for later model cars and in the racing car class. If sufficient entries are received for the latter, we will make an additional class for these cars. We also have opportunities for volunteers and those may be checked out at the website listed above. Finally, we are also exploring the possibility of providing preferred parking corrals for clubs of marques that wish to be with kindred spirits. Rick Louden is coordinating this.
